The Michelin Guide's review
Closed down in 1884, Hamburg station had a metal roof added to house the Transport and Building Museum. Today, it is home to the Museum of Contemporary Art. The heart of the collection results for the most part from funds left by Erich Marx. The great hall houses temporary installations, while the Kleihueshalle gallery is home to works by Cy Twombly, Rauschenberg, Lichtenstein, Kiefer and Warhol. One whole room is devoted to Beuys.
