The Michelin Guide's review
Early 20C buildings line several square blocks of central Bend, with many original businesses replaced by tourist oriented restaurants and coffeehouses, art galleries and antique stores. Of particular note are the Bean Building (855 N.W. Wall St.), built of locally fired brick and volcanic tuff in 1919. The adjoining white-stucco Liberty Theater (849-851 N.W. Wall St.) was erected in Mission style in 1917.
