This museum, home to 300,000 objects, houses the largest ethnographical collection of Switzerland. It is presented on a revolving basis during theme exhibitions, which are renewed every two to three years. The minimalist layout, in the manner of a primitive arts gallery, adds to the museum's charm, renovated by Basel architects, Herzog & de Meuron.
