The Michelin Guide's review
The Castello Aragonese, built in 1495 on the ruins of a Roman villa, houses the Museo Archeologico dei Campi Flegrei. The rich collection, nicely showcased by a modern and very pleasant museography, is exhibited according to the origin of the artefacts: Cuma, Pozzuoli, Liternum, Baia and Misenum. The quality and quantity of the objects hints at the prosperity of the towns of this region in Roman times. From the terraces, magnificent views over the coast.
