The Michelin Guide's review
This small 12C-13C Romanesque-Gothic church is typical of the Vexin region with its three-tiered structure and quadrangular bell tower. Having been immortalised by Van Gogh, the building became well known around the world. The radiance and brightness of its colours and its sinuous shapes add life to this monument which was perfectly captured by Van Gogh in his painting of it, displayed in the Musée d'Orsay in Paris.
