Town Hall
The Green Guide
The Michelin Guide's review
The Baroque Town Hall, completed in 1624, was designed by Cobergher: surprisingly painter, engineer and architect, who introduced the first pawnshops to Flanders. The edifice was almost totally rebuilt in the 1980s. The vast foyer contains a fine fireplace, carved doorway and staircase with a stone balustrade.
