The Michelin Guide's Opinion
Destroyed in 1914 and rebuilt from 1922 to 1932 in a Gothic and Renaissance style, the town hall features a lovely façade with unequal arches. Four giants, depicting the market gardeners of Achicourt, greet you in the entrance. The interior is Art deco. The council and wedding rooms are adorned with wainscoting, while the banquet hall's 240m2 tapestry depicts 800 figures who played a role in the history of Arras.
