Roman Tower of Arlon
The Green Guide
The Michelin Guide's review
The two Roman towers, Neptune and Jupiter (on the Grand-Place), were part of the ramparts. These walls were built on large foundations made up of fragments from dismantled monuments, including magnificent low reliefs that can now be seen in the Archaeological Museum. One of these sculptures, representing Neptune, is still in place in the wall beneath the tower.
