The Michelin Guide's review
The cave forms an archaeological site 1 600m long with remains that suggest it was occupied from the Palaeolithic Era to the Bronze Age. Cave paintings (54 of animals and 130 symbols) make up a strange and wonderful example of Quaternary Era art. The drawing of the big deer with its heart and hooves painted red is particularly impressive.
