The Michelin Guide's review
At the foot of the Cerro de la Cruz, these enormous collective tombs go back to the Bronze Age. Showing the mastery of techniques, the builders had imagined the lateral trenches to slide up the stones. The Dolmen de Menga (2500 BC) is a sort of artificial grotto with a vast chamber preceded by an impressive gallery. In the Dolmen de Viera (2200 BC), a long gallery leads to the funerary chamber... Not to be missed!
