The Fine Arts Museum has created a History of Angers tour which charts the town's development from the Neolithic to the present through its collection of art and archaeology, maps, photographs and portraits. The Fine Arts section is on the first floor. The Picture Collection encompasses a wide range of European art from the primitive to the 20C, most notably by local artists such as Lenepveu and Bodinier.
