The Michelin Guide's review
A fire destroyed the first building consecrated by Pope Leon IX in 1049. Rebuilt from the 12C, all that remains of the original edifice are the portal, adorned with the most remarkable Romanesque statues in Alsace, a double crypt with ribbed vaulting and a beautifully embellished fresco. Note the fine 15C stalls in the chancel.
