The Michelin Guide's review
These 350 workers' houses were built between 1919 and 1922 by Michel de Klerk and Piet L. Kramer, famous architects of the School of Amsterdam, for the socialist diamond workers' cooperative known as De Dageraad, or "the Dawn". The façades are adorned with decorative detail and each building is different to its neighbour.
