Anne Frank's House (Anne Frank Huis)
Green Guide
The Michelin Guide's Opinion
Anne Frank and her family, German Jews who had fled to Holland, hid in this house from the summer of 1942 to August 1944, when they were denounced and transported to the extermination camps. The museum organises exhibitions about the life of the young girl, war and anti-Semitism. In her famous Diary, as well as teenage preoccupations, Anne Frank evokes the fear and bewilderment of a family being hunted down. It is impossible to remain indifferent after a visit to the house.
