The Michelin Guide's Opinion
The Munttoren (Mint Tower) is a remnant of the gate of the initial city wall. As its name suggests, coins were minted here in 1672, during the war against France. The Baroque steeple, complete with a carillon, was built by Hendrick de Keyser.
