The Michelin Guide's review
The Tour Perret, a 104m-high skyscraper reminiscent of a concrete bell tower, has yet to win over the people of Amiens. It was designed after the Second World War by architect Auguste Perret (1874-1954) as part of the city's reconstruction. Topped with an hourglass, the tower is now lit up at night: the cube gradually changes colour as the hours go by. It cannot be visited as people still live here.
