The Michelin Guide's Opinion
This listed building, built from 1855 to 1867, is an imposing example of Napoleon III architecture. After three years of restoration, the museum now embarks visitors on a fascinating tour of its rich archaeological collections (from prehistory to the Gallo-Roman period), medieval art (masterpieces by the confraternity of Puy Notre Dame of Amiens), 16-19C paintings, sculptures and drawings and modern and contemporary art.
