Isle of Iona

The Michelin Guide's review
This remote, lonely and windswept island off the southwestern tip of the Isle of Mull is one of the most venerated places in Scotland. The abbey, an important pilgrimage site, is certainly the most visited place, but it would be a shame not to enjoy the island of Iona itself, for its fine sandy beaches, its creeks and its special atmosphere.
