The Michelin Guide's review
Eight wooden churches, built between the 16C and 18C and deisignated a Unesco World Heritage Site, are testimony to the cohabitation of Roman Catholic, Protestant and Greek Orthodox communities in this part of the Carpathians. They are worth visiting both for the architecture of the buildings and their interior paintings.
