This delightful pub is tucked down a narrow lane in a lovely Ribble Valley village. Downstairs it’s all flagged floors, low beams and open fires, while the antique-furnished upstairs is a little more elegant. Chef-Owner Steven Smith has his own distinct style, often blending numerous flavours, textures and cuisines in one dish – steamed sea bass with Thai mussel curry and tempura tenderstem broccoli, for example.
