The sincerity of his cooking shines through in such delights as lasagna and pizzaiola—if it's not on the menu, don't panic, simply ask for it. Other high points include the ultra-light gnocchi di patate in a lamb ragù and trippa alla Romana with a side of bread for sauce sopping. Only a few desserts are on offer, but we recommend a classic finish by way of the ricotta cheesecake.
