The Michelin Guide's review
An interesting cuisine, designed by Claudio Sadler and prepared by the promising resident chef Lorenzo Sacchi. There’s a café-cum-bistro at the entrance, while the elegant, contemporary-style restaurant is hidden behind a folding door. The gourmet menu here features creative dishes of meat and fish, sometimes even on the same plate (such as the lamb tartare served with prawns), as well as a selection of traditional recipes from Lombardy reinterpreted with a modern twist. The risotto alla milanese, for example, is cooked in the traditional way then finished by adding a warm ossobuco terrine in the middle, topped with a bone-marrow sauce. If you enjoy watching the chefs at work, make sure you book the table in front of the kitchen.
