The Michelin Guide's Opinion
What started out as a postage-stamp-sized restaurant squirreled away in downtown Miami has grown into a colorful, stylish hangout on Miami Beach. Gorgeous tilework lays the groundwork for a team that remains committed to sourcing different varietals of heritage from family-owned farms in Oaxaca and grinding and pressing them on site daily. Taco highlights include charred carne asada and smoky chicken, dressed with little more than onion, radish and a smear of vibrant salsas. There is, of course, even more on offer in the new space beyond a handful of tacos, flautas, and a few burritos. Tequila-based cocktails, appetizers like tuna tostada, and shareable entrees like tlayudas and a fried al pastor-marinated whole snapper round out the expanded menu.
