In low-key, tasteful and contemporary premises, the new Le Rousseau is now more spacious and boasts a quiet alfresco area to the rear. Chef Élie Michel-Villaz, who remains forever faithful to his defining mantra, simplicity, rolls out a fresh, carefully crafted repertory, paired with lovingly selected wines (several hundred references – many natural or biodynamic), served in a casual atmosphere. A short supply chain business that is going strong. Simpler menu at lunchtime.
