The Château de Dissay, a 15C stately home with an elegant and refined interior, serves modern, visually exciting cuisine, created by two young chefs, Henri Dupont and Stanislas Simonet. A trained pastry chef, Simonet has not lost his touch, as his work with blackberries in season amply illustrates. In autumn, the duo harness their talents to revealing the big-boned flavours of game. Pleasant terrace in the castle courtyard.
