The Franco-Mexican chef, Claude-Emmanuel Robin, and his Russian wife, Evgenia, fell in love with this former presbytery in Carjac, an exquisite village in Quercy. They have tastefully turned it into an elegant, charming venue with a restaurant and a shop on the saffron theme. The bistronomic slant shines through in the creative, flavoursome cuisine, served alfresco on the lovely patio in fine weather.
