The Michelin Guide's review
The veteran Crizia restaurant has been one of the most respected in the city since it opened its doors in 2004 and it’s easy to see why. The contemporary loft-style vibe in the dining room contributes to the sophisticated ambience and makes it the perfect option for a date or to impress friends. The lighting here is intimate and the service professional, with the team attentive to every detail and keen for customers to leave completely satisfied. Owner-chef Gabriel Oggero works with small-scale independent producers, fishermen and farmers in order to source the very best seasonal ingredients. Oysters are a particular speciality and fish-lovers will delight in a menu which is completely focused on seafood and shellfish. The à la carte includes charcoal- and wood-grilled dishes such as the succulent roasted Peking Duck. An expertly curated wine list, featuring a good choice of wines by the glass, provides the perfect accompaniment.
