This street, named after the two inventors of the Glagolitic alphabet, is lined with interesting buildings, such as the Greek Catholic Church of St Cyril and St Method , the work of Herman Bollé, Kusevic palace, whose attractive Baroque façade hides the Croatian Museum of Naïve Art; the 18C house of Ljudevit Gaj (founder of the Illyrian movement) where the first newspaper in Croatian was printed in 1835, and the former town hall which is in the Stankovic Theatre, a leading drama centre in the 19C.
