The Michelin Guide's review
Zádielska Gorge is a true gem of the Slovak Karst. It is 300m deep and extends over 2 200m, with an impetuous river running through it and falling into many waterfalls. Multiple caves are accessible. Beech and sycamore maple forests protect rare and diverse plant species. This nature reserve can be explored via a waymarked path, starting from the village of Zadiel.
