Mariposa Grove is the largest giant sequoias grove in Yosemite National Park, with over 500 mature sequoias. The largest, Grizzly Giant, is about 63m tall and 29m in circumference. Its age is estimated at 2 700 years. The site has been completely renovated to promote the preservation of the species and the ecosystem. It has several newly developed trails, your route to exploring the forest. You can also see giant sequoias in the Merced Grove and Tuolomne Grove areas.
