In winter, the Victorian Alps, partly occupied by the Alpine National Park (culminating at Mount Bogong 1,986m/6,516ft), attract skiers from Melbourne and further afield. These mountains also offer a fantastic playground for sports lovers of all kinds against a magnificent backdrop.
