The Michelin Guide's review
A veritable patchwork of styles, the building has a complex, much remodelled, frontage although late Gothic predominates. Historically the seat of city government, its basement served as as beer cellar. The Flamboyant décor of the east façade is the backdrop for an astronomical clock (1580). The interior is the setting for the municipal museum which hosts regular temporary exhibitions. Don't miss the little council chamber upstairs and merchants' hall on the ground floor.
