Church of Wouw
The Green Guide
The Michelin Guide's review
This church, rebuilt after the Second World War, has an attractive ensemble of statues. The Baroque 17C statues belonged to the choir stalls which disappeared during the war. They are laid out around the chancel (on consoles) and in the lower sides, where they enclose the confession boxes. The stained glass window on the west side of the tower depicts the Resurrection and is by J. Nicolas (1937).
