The Michelin Guide's review
Built in several stages between 1773 and 1813, the Gothic house has a façade that imitates that of the Gothic church of Santa Maria dell'Oro in Venice. The garden side of the house sports a brick façade in Tudor style. The house served as a place of refuge for the Prince who came here often. Admire the collection of Swiss painted glass that adorned the windows. All the rooms inside are hung with paintings.
