The Palais Stoclet, a magnificent building designed with clean lines, was built by the Austrian architect Josef Hoffmann in 1911 and decorated inside by numerous artists (including Klimt and Fernand Khnopff). The outisde, with its staircase tower decorated with four figures, has become a reference in early 20C architecture.
