The Michelin Guide's review
Erosion has shaped the unique contours of the Flinders Ranges' landscapes, which unfold over 4,200km². Aboriginal art adds to the magic of the place. Its distinctive character however comes from the harsh conditions of this Outback region in which each sign of life is a miracle: a hopping kangaroo, a family of emus in single file, the soaring flight of an eagle or the strident squawking of parrots. A natural world that comes to life when the sun sets, in a landscape of unimaginable beauty!
