The Michelin Guide's review
This magnificent Perpendicular Gothic parish church stands at the other end of the town with an elegant 37m-high tower that has buttresses to support the bell tower. The inside features a typical Somerset 16C coffered ceiling. Note also a superb sculpted wood pulpit (1636) and, in the Lady Chapel, a reredos based on the Tree of Jesse, commissioned in 1470.
