Nietzche-Archiv
The Green Guide
The Michelin Guide's review
The philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche spent the last three years of his life in this house. During his decline into madness and paralysis he was cared for by his sister Elisabeth. After his death, she instituted the Nietzsche Archives and in 1903 she commissioned Henry Van de Velde to adapt the ground floor of the house to accommodate them. The highlight of the visit has to be the library.
