The Michelin Guide's review
Crossing the Algoma affords glimpses of the wild beauty of the Canadian Shield. From Batchawana bay, the road (230km/140mi) hugs the shore of Lake Superior going from high ledges to sea level, letting you admire the coves, capes, islands and high granite cliffs battered by the water of the deepest Great Lake. Look-out points are sprinkled along the road to the great delight of photography enthusiasts, especially at KM 108 (Alona Bay) and KM 151 (Agawa Bay).
