The Michelin Guide's review
Also known as Cedar Hill, the Frederick Douglass National Historic Site houses a remarkable Victorian residence that was the last home of the black statesman, orator and abolitionist Frederick Douglass (1818-1895). The house is decorated with Victorian furnishings and memorabilia, most of which belonged to the Douglass family.
