This elegant little neighbourhood with a peaceful atmosphere grew up in the 15C but integrated administratively into Warsaw in the late 18C. The presence of palaces built in the 17C, during Warsaw's so-called Golden Age, fostered the establishment of part of the Polish aristocracy.
