The medieval St Peter's Church was built during the transition between the Decorated Gothic style and the Perpendicular style, which was the last phase of the English Gothic period. The west window and tower are in Decorated Gothic style, and the nave windows and chancel stalls in Perpendicular style. Huge glass windows illuminate the interior.
