The Michelin Guide's review
One of the largest palaces in Hungary in the 15C, it now lies in ruins, except for the main building, which was rebuilt in the 20C. The edifice was constructed between the lower town and the citadel, over several levels on the slopes of the mountainside. You can visit the ground floor and two other levels, where rooms have been reconstructed. Do not miss the fountains: the famous Oroszlános kút (Lion Fountain) and the Herkules kút (Hercules Fountain). The gardens have also been reconstructed.
