A "Grand Site National", the spectacular Saut du Doubs is one of Franche-Comté's most famous natural sites. Emerging from the Lac de Chaillexon, the waters plunge in a magnificent and noisy cascade, which is particularly impressive in autumn after heavy rainfall. Lookout points enable you to get up close and personal with this grandiose waterfall. You even get a choice of angles from which to admire it (French or Swiss side) and of ways to explore it: by boat, horse-drawn carriage or on foot.
