The Michelin Guide's review
This fortified Manueline-style church was built in the 16C by some French artists from Biscay. This explains the presence of a Plateresque with a tympanum decorated with a statuette of St John the Baptist. The interior contains several altars and a gilded wooden pulpit from the 17C and 18C. The tower on the left of the façade dates from the late 17C.
