  The Michelin Guide's review
The archipelago of the Cíes Islands stands guard at the entrance to the Vigo River, which it shelters from winds from the open sea. The islands, blessed with almost flawlessly white sand and crystalline waters, are home to a host of birds. They have enjoyed national park status since 1980 and today form part of the National Park of the Atlantic Islands of Galicia.
