The Michelin Guide's review
The beautifully restored Glass Museum celebrates Murano's glassblowing tradition through exhibitions which tell the story and evolution of the craft over the centuries. The chronological layout allows visitors to admire some real masterpieces, including a blue cup (1480) made by Angelo Barovier, pieces by Giuseppe Briati (17C), "mimetic" glass which imitates the appearance of opal or porcelain, and works of art created by some of the best glass factories of the modern day.
