The Michelin Guide's review
Situated just a few minutes from the Accademia, this museum is the other unmissable highlight of Venice. Housed in an unfinished 18C palazzo, the Peggy Guggenheim Collection is named after its founder and offers an extraordinary perspective on modern art and a remarkable overview of the main artistic trends of the 20C, right up to the 1960s. Artists exhibited in the museum include Dalí, Magritte, Chagall, Miró, De Chirico, Picasso, Braque, Kandinsky, Mondrian and Pollock, as well as Giacometti, Calder and Klee.
