The Michelin Guide's review
Composed of two islands and linked to the mainland by a bridge, Chioggia remains relatively untouched by tourism. A few paired windows and other architectural features are Venetian in style, but on the whole the atmosphere here is very different: mopeds, cars, and pedestrians jostle for space along the lively Corso del Popolo, which is lined by an attractive cathedral and a few churches. The nearby Sottomarina district is the place to make for if you fancy a dip in the Adriatic.
