The diversity of the gardens of the Château de Vendeuvre are appreciated by young and old alike. The surprise water garden is a tribute to the fanciful, even mischievous character of the 18C with water features hidden in trees and whimsical structures (crystal tree, room of Cléance, Muses' room). The Grotto, adorned with over 200,000 shells, is not to be missed either.
